Jon Moss

As a director for Conflict, Stabilization, and Resilience at Palladium, Jon leads the United Kingdom’s Humanitarian Stabilization Operations Team – providing capacity and specialist expertise to help the government effectively respond to disasters, crises, and complex emergencies around the world.

Following degrees in History and Land Management, Jon’s early career focused on farming, forestry, and agri-business. Prior to Palladium, he led Tetra Tech’s Governance, Conflict, and Stablization practice. Jon was invested as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for his outstanding contributions to Governance and Stabilization in Afghanistan, working alongside the Marine Expeditionary Force. Throughout his career, he has delivered Governance and Security programs across fragile states including in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Libya, Jordan and South Sudan.

Jon served as a reserve Officer in the Queen's Own Yeomanry, a Light Cavalry regiment of the British Army before transition to Squadron Leader of the Northumberland Hussars, a reconnaissance squadron, and subsequently Regimental Second in Command. He was also deployed on operations in Iraq, receiving the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in 2006, an operational honor, and remains in the pool of reserve Officers.
